Pros and cons of マイマップ＋ app for iPhone and iPad

マイマップ＋ app good for

i love having this on my phone..finally i can see where the F iam going! good vid pix

This has tremendous potential as a handy way to maintain my maps in Google. Needs a couple more features and refinements for me but it sure is easier to use than google maps in a browser window.

Some bad moments

I loved this App and Im using it since several years. But coming with an update, it isnt usable for iPhone 4 (iOS 6.1) anymore: The display is too small now for the requirements and the lower parts of the interface are not reachable. Regardless to this, the App should become 5.

Crashes, does not what it is supposed to do (load mymaps content from google), very complicated UI, browser version has various problems (cant zoom in on double click, cant edit groups, etc), erc What a waste of my time.

the screenshots and info about this app suggest that the menu is in english, but that is not true! It is only available in Japanese! There is no way to change the menu language (a native speaker tried to locate it) nor does the developer react to emails. Absolutely uncool and a waste of 99 cents.. I know its not much, but none the less.. one shouldnt be cheated into buying, thats just horrible business manners..

By far the worst app Ive used , many free apps out there perform so much better.

I can not use it cause it turns off immediately whenever I try to use it, especially after I upgraded my phone to iso6.

Excellent app. It made my afternoon adventure so much easier today! It didnt feel very intuitive at first but I was in a rush and dint take the time to read the instructions. (I know, I know! Duh.) after using it for a bit, it was a no-brainer. Real-time location on the map, as I was moving, was very helpful and made it easy to tell if I over-shot my destination. Im pleased that I can take notes about specific locations, I can move points from map to map very easily and I can sync with my computer quickly. I logged in using my Google account. No hassle there. Transfer between Google maps and MyMap is simple and quick. Im looking forward to using this more. (And all that time spent creating custom Google maps was not wasted! Yay!!) To the developers - Thank you!!!
